Barbie Forteza and David Licauco, known as the love team “BarDa,” are melting hearts in their latest project. The Kapuso stars starred in the music video of Ben&Ben’s cover of “The Way You Look At Me,” uploaded on Universal Records Philippines’ official YouTube channel on March 25.
In the music video, Forteza portrayed a blind girl whose sight was restored, while Licauco played her supportive love interest. The video showcased the duo’s impressive acting skills, as well as the original singer Christian Bautista, who made a cameo appearance as Licauco’s friend.
Since the release, the video has amassed over 350,000 views and counting. Fans of the love team, previously dubbed as “FiLay,” have been raving about their chemistry onscreen. Sparkle GMA Artist Center even shared exclusive behind-the-scenes photos of Forteza and Licauco on set, adding to the hype.
Forteza and Licauco first gained attention for their roles as Klay Infantes and Fidel de los Reyes in the historical fantasy drama “Maria Clara at Ibarra.” They are currently appearing in “Lady and Luke,” a four-part installment of the anthology series “Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko,” which will run until April 2.
