OPM legend Ely Buendia is making a comeback with new music as he gears up to release a new single titled “Bulaklak sa Buwan” on August 16. The singer-songwriter took to Instagram to share his excitement about the upcoming release, stating, “I’ve been working on new music and I’m excited to finally share it with you.”
This new single will mark Buendia’s first release in almost three years, following his 2021 solo track “Metro.” “Bulaklak sa Buwan” is also set to be included in his upcoming solo album “Method Adaptor,” which is scheduled to be released on November 8 under Offshore Music. While further details about the album have yet to be unveiled, fans can anticipate a fresh offering from the iconic musician.
“Method Adaptor” will be Buendia’s second solo album, following his debut solo release “Wanted Bedspacer” in 2000. In addition to his solo endeavors, Buendia is currently engaged in a reunion concert world tour with his former Eraserheads bandmates Raimund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala, and Marcus Adoro. The band is slated to perform in Singapore and Dubai in November and December, respectively.
Moreover, fans of Eraserheads can look forward to the release of a documentary titled “Combo on the Run,” which will provide an inside look into the band’s memorable Manila reunion show in December 2022. Although a release date for the film has not been announced yet, it is expected to offer a nostalgic glimpse into the iconic group’s journey.
As Buendia continues to captivate audiences with his music, the anticipation for “Bulaklak sa Buwan” and “Method Adaptor” is steadily building among fans and music enthusiasts alike. Stay tuned for more updates on Ely Buendia’s latest musical offerings and upcoming projects.
