The search for the next Miss Grand Philippines is officially underway as applications for the Miss Grand Philippines 2024 pageant are now open. The pageant’s official page announced the news on July 11, inviting aspiring candidates to showcase their talents and potentially become the first Filipina to bring home the golden crown.

Interestingly, the pageant organizers did not specify any specific requirements for the candidates. However, based on the application form available on their social media pages, beauty queen hopefuls are required to provide their body measurements including height, weight, hair color, eye color, bust, waist, hips, shoe size, and hat size. Other information needed in the application form include occupation, outstanding and past contracts with talent management, media appearances, and participation in previous beauty pageants.

Those interested in joining the pageant can submit the completed application form along with full body, swimsuit, and headshot photos to [email protected]. The deadline for submission has not been announced as of writing.

The organization has yet to disclose other details about the pageant, including the date for the coronation night and the titles up for grabs. This upcoming Miss Grand Philippines 2024 pageant will mark the second time that the competition is under ALV Pageant Circle, as the franchise was previously under Binibining Pilipinas Charities until November 2022.

In the 2023 edition, Nikki de Moura from Cagayan de Oro was crowned Miss Grand Philippines. Unfortunately, she did not make it to the Top 20 of the international edition of the pageant. Since the inception of Miss Grand International in 2013, no Filipina beauty queen has won the golden crown. The highest placements for the Philippines in the pageant are 1st runner-up finishes by Nicole Cordoves in 2016 and Samantha Bernardo in 2021.
