In celebration of its 60th year, the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) is upping the ante with new crowns and increased cash prizes for the winners of the 2024 pageant. The unveiling of the two new crowns, Binibining Pilipinas International 2024 and Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2024, took place during a press presentation on Friday, June 7. Designed by jeweler Manny Halasan, the crowns were inspired by the Binibining Pilipinas logo, featuring three stars and a sun.
Both crowns are adorned with ethical diamonds, showcasing not only their brilliance but also the organization’s dedication to responsible sourcing. In addition to the new crowns, the winners of Binibining Pilipinas International 2024 and Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2024 will each receive a cash prize of P1 million. The first and second runners-up will also be rewarded with P400,000 each.
As part of their anniversary celebration, BPCI announced a donation of P1 million to World Vision Philippines, a humanitarian organization focused on enhancing the lives of children. This philanthropic gesture reflects the organization’s commitment to giving back to the community.
A total of forty candidates are vying for the prestigious titles in this year’s pageant.
