Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker is sharing a unique glimpse into his pre-concert fitness routine and wellness-focused mindset as his band continues the One More Time tour. Barker participated in Run Travis Run, a 5K run event held at the Kia Forum parking lot in Los Angeles. The event, presented by Mascot Sports and Live Nation, also included fitness classes, mindfulness workshops, and food trucks.
Barker’s wife, Kourtney Kardashian, joined the event but couldn’t keep up with Barker’s pace. Cameras captured the occasion for their family’s Hulu series, The Kardashians. The Run Travis Run event will also take place at Citi Field in Queens, with proceeds supporting the Boys & Girls Club.
After surviving a serious accident in 2008, Barker was inspired to prove doctors wrong by running and drumming again. He ran his first half marathon last year and is passionate about the running community’s support and inclusivity. Barker later performed with Blink-182 members Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge at SoFi Stadium, a sold-out show attended by 80,000 fans and featuring hits like “All the Small Things” and “I Miss You.”
Notable guests at the concert included Kardashian, Megan Fox, and Machine Gun Kelly. The band surprised fans by incorporating a snippet of Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” during their performance of “Dammit.”
