1Z Entertainment, the label founded by popular P-pop group SB19, is currently looking for aspiring female talents to join their upcoming girl group. The label announced on June 8 that they are holding auditions for female Filipinos aged 18 to 21 years old who are passionate about singing, rapping, dancing, and modeling.

Aspiring P-pop idols who meet the age requirement and have the necessary skills can apply to be part of 1Z Entertainment trainees. The audition process involves submitting a filled-out online form along with two one-minute audition videos showcasing their dancing and singing/rapping abilities. Only solo performances will be accepted for the initial screening.

Interested applicants can submit their applications through 1Z Entertainment’s website from June 8 to 29. Those who pass the initial screening will be invited to a face-to-face audition where they will undergo further performance evaluations and interviews. The final selection will be made by 1Z Entertainment’s audition team, and successful candidates will be notified for contract signing.

According to the agency, selected trainees will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced artists and mentors, participate in workshops and training sessions, and collaborate on various artistic projects. While specific details about the girl group project, such as the number of trainees to be accepted and the debut date, have not been disclosed yet, this will be 1Z Entertainment’s first trainee project.

1Z Entertainment was established by SB19 in October 2023, with group leader Pablo serving as the chief executive officer. In December 2023, the group announced that they had secured ownership of their group name and logo after reaching an agreement with their former agency, ShowBT Philippines Corp.

SB19, which debuted in October 2018 under ShowBT, is known for their popular hits like “GENTO,” “Moonlight,” “MAPA,” “Freedom,” and “Go Up.” The establishment of 1Z Entertainment marks a new chapter for the group as they continue to make waves in the P-pop music scene.
