Originally composed by Vehnee Saturno and performed by Jay R, the track has gained widespread acclaim and multiple awards due to its poignant lyrics that revolve around remorse and seeking forgiveness from a beloved who has been hurt.

Growing up in Laguna, surrounded by a family of musicians, Ranier Caballero was exposed to music and the arts from a young age. Despite not being interested in singing before, he was involved in various productions, either as a director or part of the production team.
After moving overseas for college, Ranier seemed to have forgotten his passion for the arts until he realized that he could sing and discovered that the internet offered him a bigger stage for opportunities. Although he had no formal training, he participated in various singing competitions and achieved some success, such as being a grand finalist in DZMM’s Global Pinoy Singing Idol in 2013 and winning first runner-up in Fil-Can Idol in 2018. Although he has had some achievements, Ranier considers himself to be on a journey of discovering and rediscovering his potential as an artist and hopes that it will lead to a career-defining moment.

When asked about his musical journey, Ranier said that music was a natural interest for him. He believes that his unique story and style sets him apart from other singers. Before a performance, he studies the material and practices incessantly. If he makes a mistake, he covers it with adlibs, but he always aims to minimize mistakes by putting in hours of hard work. Ranier enjoys singing soul, R&B, and Motown and draws inspiration from Stevie Wonder, Brian McKnight, and Bruno Mars.

Ranier does not separate his personal life from his music career since music has always been a part of his life. He had to overcome a significant musical challenge when he stopped singing during puberty, thinking that he would never be good enough. However, he found his way back to music and advises aspiring singers never to stop dreaming and trust the process.
In terms of long-term career goals, Ranier is unsure but would like to find a stable career in music and make it his way of living. Ultimately, he wants to create music that heals and inspires.
