Digital Sauce Simple Plan Band
Canadian rock band Simple Plan recently held their “Harder Than It Looks” Asia Tour, presented by Willbros Live, at the New Frontier Theater last March 10. Fans lined up outside the theater as early as mid-afternoon to watch their sold-out concert.
Performance and Start of the Concert
Before Simple Plan hit the stage, Ariel made an opening performance. As the lights went dim, the band entered the stage to the loudest cheers from the fans, while the Star Wars theme song played in the background. The band opened the concert with their song “I’d Do Anything,” followed by “Shut Up.”
Simple Plan Fan Appreciation and Singing Fan Favorites
During the concert, the frontman of Simple Plan, Pierre Bouvier, thanked all the fans who supported them and expressed how excited they were to be there. The band then went on to sing fan-favorite songs such as “Jet Lag,” “Welcome to My Life,” and “Summer Paradise,” where they gave out one beach ball with their sign. They also did a medley of All-Star/ Sk8er Boi / Mr. Brightside, which was then followed by “What’s New Scooby-Doo” where a fan came up on stage wearing a Scooby-Doo costume.
Closing the Night and Second Concert
Before closing the night, Simple Plan ended their concert with “I’m Just a Kid,” “Untitled,” and “Perfect.” After their sold-out performance in Manila, the band headed to the SMX Convention Davao for their second concert on March 13.
Simple Plan gave an electrifying performance during their “Harder Than It Looks” Asia Tour, leaving their Pinoy fans wanting more. The band sang fan-favorite songs, did a medley, and even had a special moment on stage with a fan wearing a Scooby-Doo costume. If you missed their first concert in Manila, don’t worry as they head to Davao for their second concert.
